Students are admitted to KCOA BArch program through Merit, Management and NRI seats as directed by Govt orders. Merit seats are allotted by the Controller of Entrance examinations, Govt of Kerala whereas Management & NRI seats are alloted by the institution through a transparent admission process.

Those seeking merit admission shall apply for KEAM and also qualify for NATA examinations conducted by Council of Architecture. They shall proceed with the directives of Commissioner of Entrance examinations for mark and rank uploading and proceed as per allotment schedules published. College code for KEAM: KMR
Management students are also required to qualify for NATA, but they are required to apply to the college directly as per notifications from the college published through various media. College shall publish a management ranklist based on merit and seats shall be offered on the basis of the ranklist.

Eligibility Criteria
Admission is offered only to eligible candidates as per prevailing Govt & University norms and CoA Norms.
a. Candidate must be a citizen of India
b. As per the Council of Architecture minimum standards of Architectural Education, 1983, no candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/ he has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.The institutions shall follow the reservation policy of respective Government in granting relaxation in percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination for admission in the institutions.The above eligibility shall be applicable for the academic session 2022-23. It is also stated that admission to 1st year of Architecture course shall be made subject to the candidates passing the NATA or any specially designed aptitude test in Architecture conducted by the competent authority of the Central / State Governments.
c. Age : – Applicant should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December 2019. No relaxation of age will be allowed.Copy of relevant page of school record namely SSLC / CBSE/ICSE certificate showing the date of birth / copy of the birth certificate from appropriate authority should be furnished along with the application attested by Gazetted officer / Head of the institution where the student had studied.
ELIGIBLITY FOR NRI SEAT
Qualified students who are dependents of Non Resident Indians as per the section 2(o) of Act XIX of 2006. Student needs to qualify National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) and satisfy the prescribed conditions of academic eligibility
