Meghna Anilkumar is a highly motivated Architect and Urban Planner based in Kochi, Kerala. She combines a strong academic foundation with diverse professional experience spanning architecture, planning, and academia. Meghna is currently a Partner Architect at Designloom Studio since 2018, where she has partnered on various residential, commercial projects and public initiatives. Since 2025, she has been associated with KMEA College of Architecture as an Assistant Professor. She holds a Masters in Urban Planning from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut and B.Arch from the Government Engineering College, Thrissur. Her award-winning research focuses on flood resilience, disaster management, and resilient land-use planning.
Her primary interests ranges from environmental resilience, technical analysis using GIS and remote sensing to art, architecture and interior design. She also possesses a passion for reading and writing, particularly in the forms of prose and poetry. Meghna is currently delving into the development of a unique pedagogy rooted in sustainability and climate adaptability. Her work aspires to explore the intersection of design and cognitive understanding, aiming to create educational frameworks that prepare future designers for a rapidly changing environment.
