Sijo Mathew is an Architect and Urban Planner with professional experience in architectural practice and academics. After completing his degree in Architecture, he began practicing and was actively involved in the conceptual development, design, and execution of residential, commercial, and institutional projects. His growing interest in the relationship between built spaces, human life, and the environment led him to pursue a Master’s degree in Urban Planning. He began his academic career in 2025 at RIT – Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, where he conducted Architectural Design Studios for third year B.Arch students. During his tenure, he actively participated in design juries and mentored students in their Dissertation and Thesis work. After completing one year, he joined KMEA College of Architecture. His teaching portfolio includes subjects such as Theory of Architecture, Building Materials and Construction, Appropriate Building Technologies, Interior Design, Housing, Disaster Management, Professional Skill Enhancement, and Architectural Design Studio. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he serves as the Jury Coordinator in the institution’s Examination Cell.
